Guarantee

We strive to exceed your expectations and make you more than satisfied with your new glasses.  Frames and lenses purchased at NWEA Optical are warrantied for a year.  Minor adjustments and repairs are offered at no charge.

When choosing lenses and frames for your glasses, it’s important to consider both your vision needs and personal style. For lenses, your eye doctor will determine the prescription based on your specific vision requirements, whether you’re nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism. They may recommend single-vision lenses for clear vision at one distance or multifocal lenses for multiple distances. Additionally, lens options such as anti-reflective coatings or blue light filters can enhance visual comfort and protect against harmful light.

When it comes to frames, choose ones that fit comfortably on your face and align with your personal taste. Consider factors like material, shape, and color. Our opticians at Newton Wellesley Eye Associates can help you find frames that suit your face shape, lifestyle, and budget. Ultimately, the best way to determine the right lenses and frames for your glasses is to consider your unique vision needs and personal preferences.

At Newton Wellesley Eye Associates, we understand that choosing the right lenses and frames is essential for your vision and style. That’s why we offer a variety of high-quality lenses and a wide selection of stylish frames to cater to your individual needs and preferences. Our knowledgeable opticians are dedicated to helping you find the perfect combination of lenses and frames that not only optimize your vision but also reflect your unique personality.

Can I Get Prescription Glasses or Contact Lenses Without an Eye Exam?

To ensure that you experience clear vision, you will need to obtain an updated prescription by visiting your eye doctor at Newton Wellesley Eye Associates. Eye exams are crucial in determining your specific vision needs and identifying any underlying eye conditions.

During an eye exam, your eye doctor will perform multiple tests to measure your visual acuity, assess your eye health, and determine the ideal prescription strength for your glasses or contact lenses. By skipping an eye exam, you risk using incorrect prescriptions that may lead to discomfort, suboptimal vision, or potential complications.

Glasses and contact lens prescriptions issued from doctors at outside practices are also accepted.
