Kristie Behrens, OD is one of our optometrists. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College (MA) and graduated as a valedictorian from the New England College of Optometry. Her professional experience includes a decade of service to Boston and MetroWest area community health centers. She also served as an adjunct clinical faculty member at both the New England College of Optometry and MCPHS University School of Optometry.
Dr. Behrens is a primary care optometrist. She provides routine, pediatric, and diabetic eye exams, as well as medical and urgent care visits. She works very closely with the team of ophthalmologists and optometrists here at Newton Wellesley Eye Associates, and if a consultation or referral is necessary or desired she works to make the process as efficient as possible to assure the best possible outcome for every patient.
