Irene Hsu-Dresden, MD recently joined NWEA after practicing pediatric ophthalmology in California for 13 years. She provides comprehensive eye care to all children, as well as adults with double vision and strabismus (eye muscle misalignment). She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and obtained her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at NYU and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, followed by a pediatric fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute of the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU). While in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Hsu was awarded Best Eye Doctor in the yearly “Best of the Best” by Bay Area Parent.
Dr. Hsu is an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
